  1. One day as Fionn MacCool was walking along the banks of the Blackwater he met a giant named Liam Harris. This giant was playing a salmon and whoever would eat this salmon when boiled would be filled with great knowledge.
    Now, the giant was playing the salmon for two days and two nights and he was very sleepy. He asked Fionn to play the fish for a bit while he got some sleep, and he told him when he had the fish caught to bring him to the cave and boil him. He also said that if he left a blister rise in the salmon he would have his life. And he going away he gave Fionn a ring to put on his finger.
    When Fionn caught the salmon he brought it to the giants
