    best. Sometimes buy other cattle with the money which they got by selling other cattle.
    The buyers carry their cattle by train, by lorry, or by driving them. There are various kinds of the cattle at the fair such as fat cattle, milch cattle, springers, calves and bulls. Most of the fat cattle are sold to the butcher but farmers buy thin cattle and fatten them.
    Some of the animals are brought near the town the day before and left in a field.
    There are various marks on cattle. A piece of hair is cut with a scissors. A mark or a letter of the buyer’s name if often put on with a chalk. Sometimes a stamp containing the buyer’s name is put on the animals back. Sometimes a piece of cord
