    A few miles from my school in the townland of Ballyduff can be seen the ruins of an old church and graveyard. This graveyard is long gone out of use and I know nothing of its history
    In my parish at Wallstown there is a tower which was built by the hands of a man named John Roche. He used the tower in conjunction with a small mill situated on the river Awbeg. This tower is of modern structure but is derelict
