    There are many weight throwers in this part of the country, the most notable of these is, Doctor O Callaghen. He threw an numerous amount of weights. There were many others besides Doctor O Callaghen, but they could not outstrip him, as he is the World's greatest champion, and winning the weight throwing every year.
    Jim Clogan the great runner won a gold three years in succession, for a mile race. He entered into competition with a horse also. The Leahy's of Cregene were famous jumpers, and they always jumped ten
