  1. The townland of Ballybahallow is in the parish of Milford but was formerly in the parish of Churchtown. It is in the barony of Duhallow. There are 96 people living in the townland. The family named most common is Mullane. Some of the houses are thatched and some are slated.
There are the old people living in the townland but they don't know Irish. They are Julia Finn, Dan Madigan, and Tom Hefferman. Houses were very numerous in former time. When times were bad a good many emigrated to America. The land is hilly and fairely good.
    Ellen Mullane, Ballybahallow.
