    Tis of a pretty maiden fair these lines I will unfold.

    The following poem was made by Tim Galvin, a carpenter who lived near Kiskeam.
    "Tis of a pretty maiden fair these lines I will unfold,
    She is possessed of riches great, and an estate of gold,
    "Tis true I love her dearly though I'm of a low degree,
    And the praises of this fair maid I will relate to thee.
    When first I met this pretty girl 'twas in the month of May,
    As I strayed by the Araglen's side to lure the fishes gay,
    I spied this pretty fair maid trip o'er the pasture green,
    And she was bound all for her
