    4. Once when Our Lord was going along the road on a winter's night He and His mother knocked at a door and asked for shelter but the people told them that they had no room to spare.
    But Our Lord said they would lie on the green rushes cut from the fields.
    It is still said that yould not get cold if you slept or sat on green rushes.
