  1. West of Lisrobin is :-
    Reallin Townland.
This townland contains a large area of bog. A road now passes through to Kiskeam. Coming along this road from the village of Kiskeam 25 years ago at midnight were two men named McAuliffe and Dennehy.
McAuliffe was amusing himself by hopping stones off the road and over the fence: when Dennehy rebuked him saying it wasn't right to throw stones at night. He immediately ceased and then they heard the cry of a child and what seemed to be a mother's voice endeavouring to put the child to sleep. These weird sounds came from the bog near which there was no dwelling house. When they entered Dennehy's house they related their experience and Dennehy's brother who was sitting near the fire started up to go out to hear the crying: but the old woman present stopped him saying, "two will hear it three will not." So they went into the yard in twos and still heard the cry of the angry child. At length a third person went outside the door and all was silent.
