He stuck the gun in a bush and went inside the fence himself. When the funeral had passed he pulled the gun in through the bush towards him. A briar pulled the trigger and he was shot.

"Mhuise cathain a bheidh bhúr ndeire [?]" arsa'n sagart. "Nuair a bheidh ar n-aghaidh thiar is dóígh liom" arsa Séamus.
