    Rushes are known to flourish in wet marshy land They are a great destruction as they impoverish the soil They are cut and used as bedding for cattle and also for thatching ricks and houses.
    Bramier is very harmful to potatoes. It grows up like strong grass and holes through the potatoes People mow it to try and destroy it but they fail to do so as it spreads rapidly It is also called Scutch grass
    Gruana grows in all crops and especially in potatoes and in black ground
    Buacallán is a weed with a big yellow blossom which grows in good soil.
