  1. Jimmie Curren He was a native of Kerry and he always stopped in the neighbourhood. He generally sold brooches. When he spent a night in a house he gave each one a brooch. He died in the neighbourhood of Bantry and left a large sum of money. He had three priests in his funeral
    Paddy Finigan - When he came to this district he usually lodged at a certain house for a night. It is said that one night he was drunk and he cursed the neighbours, but afterwards he have them a drink of whiskey. He died in the Bantry Union.
