   The names that (is) are most common in Pairc Aoil (is) are Dooleys, Rafteries, Groatkes. There were many other families too. About 90 years ago there were 30 houses in it and there are only about 15 now. Many of the houses have fallen as they were only small little thatched houses. This village was divided into 4 parts. "Pairc an Crann" Seán Meallan, "Crócan" France and Pairc Aoil it's right name which is called so because of all the limy soil which is in it. The part which is called France is beside a river. There were two houses in it long ago one each side of the river, Dairs and Egan's. There was a mill here too and the mill stone it to be seen still. The bog that
