    O God thou hast through the night
    Watched me with fathers care.
    I praise thee with the morning light.
    For all the blessings that I share. Protect me still throughout the day,
    From sin, from evil, from distress.
    And what I think, or do, or say.
    Do thou, o best of fathers bless
    Angel of God to thee I pray
    Be with me where I go this day
    Oh Mary pray, before God's throne
    For me to Jesus Christ, thy son
    Whose name in love we all adore
    To whom be praise for evermore "Amen"
