  1. There are not many fairy forts in this district. There is a rath in Mr King's field. Tolerton, Ballickmoyler, Leix. It is round in shape, and it is said that a girl with read hair was seen there long ago.
    There is a rath in Turra. It is round in shape. It was said that there were fairies living and they were to be heard singing, dancing and playing music at midnight. There are thick bushes surrounding it.
