    Banbh (pr. BON) - a young pig - plural BONS, also BONEENS

    Puisín - a young cat
    Caitín - a little cat
    Cearc - said when hunting fowl away, "Hí CEARC!"
    Gabhar - said when hunting goats away - Hí gabhar!
    Riabhóg - a very small bird
    Dreoilín - wren, or any small bird
    Spideóg - robin, also a diminutive person

    Bogán or Bugán - a soft egg
    Fóinéal or Fóirnéal - an unnaturally small egg
    Gugaí - any egg, usually said to children - "guggy"
    Cubóg - Easter egg - especially eggs as alms or gift

    Biorach - a little muzzle made of leather straps spiked with nails - placed on young calf

    Crobhnasc - pron. "CRUMB-nask" - a chain binding or tying a cow's horn to her foreleg

    Smulc - a little ungainly hammer
    Baitín - a short thick stick
    Buailtín - ditto

    Cúib - coop for fowl

    Cadhp-báis - the finishing touch - that put the "cadhp bais" on the whole affair

    Gabhailín (go-e-leen) - a wisp of hay etc
    Grainneóg - hedge-hog
