  1. Mick Tegan got a curse put on him over a girl in Lamberton, a widow's daughter.
Some time after, he was drawing stones out of quarry of Claxton's in Dysart with a big black mare. He was drawing to the Asylum in Maryboro where they were building at the time. (1893 to 1895). When he got up on the load the mare leaped, he was flung out on the road and the mare drew the car & load over his legs and left him an invalid for life.
The girl had been brought to "misfortune" by this Tegan. When the baby was born the mother & child died. They put the baby in the coffin turned on its face and cursed Mick Tegan.
