    On a dark winter night about the year 1880. A man named Peter Fingleton was coming from his father's home in Derryfore to his uncle's house.
    As he came along the avenue leading to the road, he heard the sound of horse's hooves coming after him. He stepped aside and as soon as he did a man on horse back galloped past.
    He wondered where the rider came from. He went back to see if his father's horse
