    down a draw well that stands near the castle. The well was covered over by fallen stones from the castle and several people came to search for the gold. Some came from Dublin and one man from Raheen by the name of Butler searched for it but failed to find it. The ruins of the castle are still to be seen. When the chapel was knocked down a mass pit was created in Raheen.
