  1. One of the prayers I learned at home is,
As I lie on my right side,
I pray to God to be my guide,
There are four corners on this bed,
And around them four angels spread,
    Mathew, Mark, Luke and John,
God bless this bed that I lie on,
And if I die before I wake,
I pray to God my soul to take,
And if an evil crosses me,
    O good Jesus waken me,
That I may have my right hand to see,
    And bless me,
    Amen.
This prayer is generally said when persons are going to bed at night.
    Another prayer is,
    Infant Jesus meek and mild,
    Pity me a little child,
    Pity mine and pity me.
Suffer me to come to Thee,
Heart of Jesus, I adore thee,
Heart of Mary, I implore thee,
Heart of Joseph, pure and just,
