    I amuse myself in Autumn in going to the woods and picking nuts and black-berries.
    In winter I play cards and draughts and rings. Girls have different games such as skipping. They buy a skipping rope for sixpence and they are so fond of skipping that they bring their skipping ropes to school.
    On a winter's night they play a lot of games.
