    The ruins of an old chapel are still to be seen in the local graveyard (of Duamaggin).
    The ruins of the Seven Castles of Kells are to be seen in Kells (Stoneyford). These castles were built by the Normans, and were in charge of the Augustinians for many years. They were finally destroyed by Cromwell.
