  1. It is said that in the olden times treasure was hidden in Bishops-hall in one of he fields of the farm of Mr Aylward. Entering into that field is a red iron gate and about twelve yards from it stands a large tree. Underneath that tree the treasure is supposed to be hidden. Some years ago men went to this field and when they were at the gate they saw the tree but when they went into the field the tree could not be seen.
    These people thought they saw a man riding on a snow white horse. He appeared to be a fairy man and it is said that it is guarded by him. Every one is afraid to get this Treasure.
