  2. Sugrues Plaster was a great cure for any mattery sore. It was made by my grandfather and he learned it from Michael Sugrue of Gleanagalough. The first one it cured was my great grandmother
    Ingredients
    a piece of Mutton suet
    a quart of Linseed oil
    a square of fancy Carbolic soap
    1/2 comb of honey
    A piece of elm bark.
