    It is unlucky to see a horse-shoe on the road on May-Day.

    When hatching eggs the Sign of the Cross should be made on them with a burned stick.

    It isn't right to present a gun at anyone whether is is loaded or not.

    When a cow calves the hairs are burned off the udder with a Blessed Candle.

    Never hatch eggs on Monday or Friday.
