- The is a Fairy fort in Moat it is know as a rath. There are two of them near one another there is a big trench around it, it is beside a river. No one from around explored it.
About four years ago, a man was ferriting he lost the the ferrit. He stead digging. He saw a black dog in the trench He ran off and on one goes near it at night - There is a rath in Fermoyle it is in Hollands field. Paddy Lawlor was coming from Clancys, about twelve o clock. He had a black dog. The dog leaped into the bushes after rats as he thought a kid leaped from the bushes(continues on next page)
