    Where a Priest came to say Mass. He had to cross the river, and say Mass in the ruin of an old Monastery. The wall of it are there yet. No Soldiers found it out only a few went to Mass there.

  2. There is a Mass rock about one mile from Abbeyleix in the Townland of Raheen. It is about a half a mile from the road. It could hold about forty people. A priest said Mass in it when they wouldnt be allowed to say Mass in the churches.
