  1. Murtagh Gavan was a great local poet. He lived in Garron. He is buried in Aghabog graveyard.
    James Brady Rathkeane was a great poet. He made "The hills of sweet Rathkeane". Rhymer McGurk was a kind of tramp. All these poets made their songs without any help.
