    The toys long ago were homemade. There was no toys to buy in the shop. The fathers and mothers made the toys for the children.
    They made carts out of bits of wood. The wheels were made from buttons. The people made guns from "Cootree". They made a sling from a piece of leather and two strings. They mad catapults from bits of tube of a motor or bicycle. Tie the tube to a stick shaped like the prongs
