    Hse:-
    (1) Table-use.
    (2) Farmers sometimes when crop is plentiful go under contracted to supply local Alcohol factory in Carrickmacross. The waste material or stilage from alcohol factory is distributed among farmers as feeding for pigs and cattle.
    (3) Porrins (small potatoes) are given to the pigs and fowl.
    (4) Sometimes were utilised in outlying districts or neighbourhoods in the making of poitín.
