  1. My fathers farm is situated one mile from Ballytrain and six miles for the nearest Railway Station. It consists of thirty acres of land, three of which are under potatoes.
    My father does the work on farm. First he ploughs the ground. Then he cultivates and harrows it after that he cross-ploughs it. Then he cultivates & harrows again. He opens drills and shakes artificial manure in the drills. Then the seed are dropped and the drills are closed. Long ago they would plough the ground with a wooden plough.
    When the potatoes are growing, they are moulded with a plough. Sometime after that, they are sprayed
