    roared and wanted to jump out of her apron but she would not let him go until he gave her a purce of gold. He tried every place he could to escape from the woman but she was too clever for him. At last he consented to give her the gold but he said that he should go to Ballyrea to get it.
    The woman carried him there and when they arrived the lepreachan roared and said, "Oh blazes woman Ballyrea is on fire." The woman looked to see if it were on fire. When she looked again the lepreachan was gone.
