    If rude boys rob birds' nests they are told that each will come on their hand.
    Weather can be judged by the behaviour of certain birds. For instance if the swallows fly high fine weather is expected and if low bad rainy weather. If the curlew whistles with a double whistle fine weather is coming. If the seagull fly towards the sea a storm is approaching.
    The robin has got a red breast as a result of having one day sucked the sacred blood of our Lord's body.
