  1. There is a place between Rockfield {&} Kilkerry Cross about 2 miles west of Castleisland called "Loca the Mudee." (phonetic) . A stream of water flows beside the road. A headless coach was supposed to pass here nightly in the dead hours of night. One night a party going from a card party at Edenburn Lodge saw the "headless coach" and none of them afterwards stayed out late. The parties in the coach always made queer noises and horses did not care to pass the place late at night.
