    May Day
    No one, who is, by any means superstitious likes to give away anything on that day. If they do, so it is said to be unlucky.
    St Martin's Day
    On that night, people used to draw blood by killing some wild fowl or animal even at the present day this is done if a person fails to do so, he is supposed to suffer from ill health during the coming year.
    St John's Night
    It falls on the 23rd of June. On that night, large fires are lit out in the open air. A number of people gather in a circle round the fire and spend the time to an advanced hour singing, dancing, storytelling and reciting.
