    Each of the tasks had to be finished at sunset. If the tasks were not finished at sunset, the boy's head would be cut off. The next morning the boy started the first task. As the boy was cleaning out the stable the same amount of manure was left after him. When the girl came out to call the boy into his dinner he said that it was not worth his while as he would not have the work done and his head would be cut off. She told him to come in and that she would help him when dinner was over. He went in with her and he took his dinner. The lady went to a box and out of it she took a rod.
