    Each night I dream I see that plain,
    they call it Túrlough móre
    The loveliest place beneath the stars
    are the plantings round Doo-móre.

    Doocastle was a lovely place,
    when you and I were young.
    The green fields and the forests deep
    where the small birds sweetly sung.
    Adieu, Adieu sweet Ballindoo,
    and the green hill of Doo-móre.

    Ive got an invitation for to cross,
    the Atlantic wave.
    Tomorrow morning I must brave
    the deep blue Ocean sea.
