    The cairn at Heapstown is the burial place of a chieftain he was named Olva Oliell.

    The cairn at Heapstown is the burial place of a chieftain he was named Olav Oliell. The present Barony of Tirerril is named from him. The people his his clan placed the stones as a park over his grave. The stones are of every shape and size.
    The only church in penal days was in Cabra.
    The remains can still be seen in Michael McDonagh's field beside the road to Clooneen
