    (c) A stone boiled with potatoes (by mistake) and rubbed on a wart will cure it. Water in which eggs are boiled is supposed to put warts on hands or feet if washed in it.
    Sty on Eye:-
    Point a gooseberry thorn towards it nine times.
    Swelling:-
    To reduce swelling roast chicken-weed on tongs over red coals and poultice the swollen part.
    Sprain:-
    (i) Hold limb sprained under a tap or other water fall.
    (ii) Get a “spraining thread” from a weaver or one of his family.
    Headache:-
    (i) A cup of strong black tea:
    (ii) Rub the head with vinegar
    (iii) Rub the head with whiskey.
    (iv) Tie a black silk band around the forehead and head.
    (iv) Squeeze a cloth out of very hot water and apply to the head.
    (vi) Get the head measured on Monday, Thursday
