  1. A Story:
There once lived a woman and her son in a house in Cilla-Thurley. The boy was never able to walk until he was a big boy. One day his mother went to town, which was fa away. She told him when she was going not to open the door, or let anybody in.
The mother was not long gone when a tinker and a black ass came to the door, and asked to be let in. The boy said he would not let anybody in. The tinker got angry, and he broke the door and went into the house. He went up to the fire where the boy was, and asked things from him. The boy got his stick, and killed the tinker on the floor.
The boy went to the door. He began to put the ass into a field. The ass began talking to the boy. He said he was a soul in the form of an ass.
