    The island and Well were blessed by St Molaise
    There is a little Chapel and no matter how many people go into it, it can never be filled.
    When the cuckoo is heard on the island by a person on the mainland it is believed that some one on the island is going to die.
    There are separate burial places for males and females.
    When a man dies he is buried in the males place, and a woman in the females place.
    If a man were buried in a females place, the corpse would be over the ground in the morning.
    There is a little heap of stones beside the Chapel and no matter how many times they are counted, a person can never get the same number twice in succession.
    Rats have never been seen on the Island and it is said that if houses on the mainland are
