  1. About fifty years ago a man named John Gallagher, of Ballintrillick, Co Sligo ran short of hay for his cattle.
    In his own locality there was none for sale. He had neither horse nor cart, and taking a rope with him, he crossed the mountains to a place called "Log na nGall"[?], which is situated to the south east of Glencar Lake in the Parish of Drumcliffe, Co Sligo. He has friends who lived in this place.
    They filled about two hundred weight of hay into the rope and put the load on his back.
