    four hours. A man named Michael Costello was a great jumper. The names of the places where these feats were accomplished were sports fields. There was a great mower in Clashmealcon whose name was Tom Crowly; he used mow at least an acre of ground daily. Three noted dancers were Patrick Dineen, Kilmore, Ballyduff, Ned Bunyan, Drumnacurra, Causeway and William Hussey, Glenderry Ballyheigue and great victory was won in this dancing.
    A man named John Pierce Meenogahane, Causeway won great fame for swimming. Two great carsmen were John County and John Gradey about forty years ago. Two great story-tellers were John Fitzgerald, Demain, Ballyheigue and Pat Donoghue, Drumnacurra, Causeway.
