    Once upon a time there lived a prince and he was a great gambler.

    to him to come back but he would not. He jumped on the back of the black steed and made off as fast as he could. It did not take him long until he had reached Foghill. His father was glad to see him home again safe.
    After about a week there was to be a great race in the district, and the winner of it would get £4000. So the prince got his horse ready and on the appointed day he rode to the race-course and he was met by many of his friends and welcomed.
    The prince won the race and he got the £4000. He came home and the next day he bought a lot of stock and stocked his father's land. Then he was to get married to a princess
