  1. Some years ago, a man, who was in the habit of visiting a neighbour's house, and staying until a rather late hour used to see at a certain gap a man with a high hat standing there. The man was a courageous type but after seeing this person for some time it got on his nerves and he resolved is find out who the man was.
    So this night he walked straight up to the person, and to his surprise, and relief he discovered that the "ghost" was a donkey standing on the ditch. The donkey had a white star on his forehead which looked liked a collar and his ears standing up looked like a high hat. The joke was thoroughly enjoyed but all his friends.
