    A cure for warts.
    If you are out in a field and you happen to get a big black snail, it can be used to cure warts. But you must not go to look for the snail. First rub the snail to the warts. Then hang the snail on a thorn and when the snail withers away the warts will wither also.
    A cure for mumps.
    Get some garlic, put it in your shoes and the mumps will go away in a short time.
    A cure for blain.
    A cure of the blain is to bleed the animal out of the nostrils or mouth and keep the animal moving around for a few hours.
    A cure for hoose
    To cure hoose in a beast's neck, put turpentine and linseed oil down the beast's neck for nine mornings after each other.
    A cure for a stone bruise.
    Get some loaf bread and put it in boiling water. Leave the bread in the
