- There is a fort in Callow hill. It is on Mrs McGovern's land. This fort was built by the Danes. It is supposed that gold is hidden in it. This gold was hidden by people long ago. A man named McCabe tried to get it. He saw a pot of gold in the fort, and he turned aside to bless himself. When he turned back there was nothing in the pot but mould. It is believed that a woman dressed in white is minding it.
