  1. Local Cures

There are many kinds of cures in this this district.

There are many kinds of cures in this this district. For a pain in the back the people used to go to sweat houses. For a pain in the stomach people used to boil the roots of dandelion. People used to boil nettle roots for the Measles. If there is a seventh son in a house and when he is young if there is a worm put in his right hand he will be able to cure evil. There is a cure for a stone-bruise by by boiling crattle and butter-milk. The crattle is got on a mossy ditch or on a stone.
