Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Gobán Saor a man who lived in Ireland long ago. He built houses and did carpenter work. One time he thought he would make a very beautiful chest. He made one and carried it to where it could be seen by the people going to mass, and getting into it he used the first inside lock, ever made in Ireland. He wanted to hear what the people would say about his work, so he kept very quiet. The people gathered around to look at the chest all agreed it was fine workmanship and very beautiful, as nothing like it had ever been seen before, it must shurely be the work of Gobán Saor. First one said that the legs were too long for the size of it, another that it was too high for the length of it, another it was too broad, and still another said there not enough of ornaments on it. He carried it home again worked to suit there wishes, and again took it for inspection. Again they
