  1. A long time ago there was a man named
James Teague Aughnaglace Bloone who was a
mason and built houses for people. One time
Pat Murray of Drumkirt Bloone asked James to
build a born for him, and he would give
him what ever money he would charge. James
said that he would build it for him and
charge him twelve pounds." Agreed on" said Pat.
"Now" said James "half the money when the
    64) work is finished.'Very good" said Part "when
can you start." "In the morning" said James "I
will be there at eight o'clock sharp". Next mor-
ning came and James was as good as his word.
He got on very quick with his work as he
was a very speedy mason and when Saturday
night Pat gave James six pounds which was half
the money. "Good man" Pat said James "you are a
man of your word". "When James went home
he said to the wife, "I am landed at this job
for I am sure of all my money as I got half
of it to night". "That is very good" the wife
said. " You know that Pat is one of the
good old sorts" said James."Right" said the
wife "you know that he would not fool you.
