    namely Rossen n.s. And though comfortably situated, had a good school, intelligent children popular with the neighbours and had a kindly and agreeable manager, yet he was never happy or contented in the Parish - he liked the people and the country. Yet he could not understand it himself. But he was most anxious from the first day to get away out of it again. In a few years he did succeed and is now teaching in a school called Keadue, Co. Roscommon.
